Josh Lee

Josh Lee is an Australian filmmaker who studied at Murdoch University & FTI, gaining a first class honours degree in Media Studies and an Advanced Diploma in Video Production, before going on to complete a Masters in Documentary at the Australian Film, Television & Radio School in 2018. He is currently a PhD candidate in Documentary Practice. He has 10 years of experience working as a freelance cinematographer and editor across the world in corporate, educational, event, commercial and broadcast production. Directing credits include: A Dollar for the Good Ones 1 x 24mins, (Best Documentary WA Screen Awards, Guangzhou Doc, Flickerfest, ACMI Perspectives), Pain is Temporary Pride is Forever 1 x 50mins (Best Documentary WA Screen Awards, Winner Cambo Film Fest), The Fathering Project 1 x 30mins ABC, Compass (Best Short Form nom. AIDC Awards, Best Doc ATOM Awards), The Suburban Dream 1 x 30mins Aljazeera 101 East, DUNGARRI NYA NYA 1 x 5mins ABC, Artworks, A Friend in Death 1 x 30mins. He also runs the youtube channel Songs from Vagabondia.

Josh is currently based in Perth, Australia developing several projects and working freelance as a director, field producer, researcher and shooter.
